Nikol Pashinyan boycotts budget discussion
“It is already three years I have seen the order of Parliament Speaker which says that Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and governors of provinces must participate in the discussion of the state budget,”opposition lawmaker Nikol Pashinyan said in parliament on Wednesday. “It is already three years I have seen neither Taron Margaryan nor [Syunik Governor] Surik Khachatryan during budget discussions. What does it mean? Do they want to say that top officials do not attend such discussions which they do not think to be prestigious?” said Nikol Pashinyan. “They say that Taron Margaryan has more important tasks to attend. Do they mean to say that we have come here to solve unimportant issues? Now I am leaving because I also have important things to do.
