Gevorg Dabaghyan shares his impressions of Lisbon (video)
Famous Armenian duduk player Gevorg Dabaghyan and Shoghaken Ensemble represented Armenia during the first ever Armenian Culture Week in Lisbon. The event was organized by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Today, Mr Dabaghyan shared his impressions of the Lisbon visit with reporters in Yerevan. The duduk player who has performed in many concert halls in the world is especially impressed by the acoustics and interior of the hall at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. “Everything is done for a musician to play well,” he said. During his everyday contact with locals, Gevorg Dabaghyan also understood their great love for great benefactor Calouste Gulbenkian (1869–1955).
