Aeroflot - Russian Airlines Aeroflot has resumed direct regular flights between Moscow and Tbilisi on October 27, after a six-year hiatus. Regular air traffic between Russia and Georgia was disrupted in August 2008 because of the armed conflict in South Ossetia. Flights resumed in August 2010. At present, direct flights between Russia and Georgia are available in the charter regime between Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Tbilisi, Batumi and Kutaisi. The flights are operated by Russia's S7 and Ural Airlines and Georgian Airways.
