Richard Giragosian: Armenia is given a chance (video)
The New format of cooperation with the European Union will open a new opportunity for Armenia, says the director of the Regional Studies Centre. Richard Giragosian thinks that the relationship with the European Union may partially compensate the negative economic consequences that may be felt after Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union. Now that the relations between Yerevan and Brussels have been somewhat clarified, the talks can enter a new stage, says the political scientist. It is not clear yet in which format Armenia will cooperate with the EU. The European side announced that they are waiting for Armenia’s proposals to adopt the agenda of the EU-Armenia cooperation after Armenia joins the EEU.
