Defender of the Budaghyans left the conference hall (video)
Today Hayk Alumyan, the defender of Artak Budaghyan on the case of shootings near Syunik Governor Surik Khachatryan’s house, left the conference hall of Syunik region Court of General Jurisdiction. “I don’t expect justice from the Court, as the victim Loreta Barseghyan’s husband is Syunik Governor Surik Khachatryan,”- Hayk Alumyan said to A1+. According to the words of the defender, after being appointed Syunik Governor, Surik Khachatryan thanked and informed that he cooperates with Court President and staff. Today Mr. Alumyan presented withdrawal to the judge Napoleon Azizyan, but it was refused. The defenders’ future steps aren’t known, they must be discussed with the Budaghyans. The trial will be continued on October 7. We remind that last year on June 2 there were shootings near Syunik Governor Surik Khachatryan’s house in Goris. As a result of shootings former mayor candidate Avetik Budaghyan was killed, and his brother Artak Budaghyan is the defendant. The case is examined at Syunik region Court of General Jurisdiction.
