Aznavour promised to accompany Erdogan to Tsitsernakaberd: ARMENPRESS
French-Armenian singer, the RA Ambassador in Switzerland Charles Aznavour expressed his dissatisfaction with the fact that Turkey continues denying Armenian Genocide of 1915 by the Ottoman Empire. As “Armenpress” informs, this was announced by Charles Aznavour in the interview to RTS TV company. Noting that Erdogan was invited to Armenia on the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide on April 24, 2015, Aznavour reminded that the President of Turkey hasn’t responded to it in any way. “He hasn’t answered yet, but if he comes, I will go with him,”- said the singer. Turning to the fact that he is already 90 years old, Aznavour hopes that before his death the relations between Armenia and Turkey will be regulated. Serzh Sargsyan invited the President of Turkey to Armenia on April 24, 2015. The President announced it on May 27, 2014 during the fourth sitting of the state committee regulating the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
