Since October 10, 2009- after signing Armenian-Turkish protocols, there have been no positive shift in the relations with Turkey. Some days ago from the 69th Assembly Tribune of the UNO Serzh Sargsyan sent to hell the protocols. What does it mean? Will the RA do concrete steps? BHK Mikayel Melkumyan was the only optimistic deputy, “If it has been announced, they will be surely called back, but let’s wait for the course of events.” Minister of Foreign Affairs Edvard Nalbandyan noted at the meeting with the UNO General Deputy Secretary Helen Clark that he had nothing to add to Serzh Sargsyan’s words. Mrs. Clark reminded a part from the speech that the official Yerevan seriously discusses the issue of calling back Armenian-Turkish protocols from the parliament and asked if there are approximate dates. Edvard Nalbandyan gave an obscure answer, if there was such thing, Serzh Sargsyan would say it. Heritage Deputy Zaruhi Postanjyan is sure that Serzh Sargsyan doesn’t work independently, he fulfills the order of protocols’ initiators. She is sure that without the preconditions, that is not to discuss Armenian Genocide Issue and return the NKR to Azerbaijan, Turkey won’t regulate the relations with the RA and won’t open the borders.
