Armenian parliamentary delegation visits Czech Republic
A group of Armenian lawmakers led by Vice-Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov started an official trip to the Czech Republic on Monday. The visit is arranged on the invitation of Milue Horská, Vice-President of the Senate of the Czech Republic. The Armenian delegation includes Margarit Yesayan (Republican Party), Tatshat Vardepatyan (Republican Party) and Artsvik Minasyan (Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun). In Prague, the Armenian delegates will hold meetings with the Milue Horská, Vice-President of the Czech Senate, Vojtech Filip,Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies, Cardinal Dominique Duka, Patriarch of the Czech Catholic Church, Vladimír Zavázal, Secretary General of the Czech Foreign Ministry, Miroslav Krejča, Chairman of the Senate Committee on EU Affairs, Zuzka Bebarová-Rujbrová, Chairperson of the Chamber of Deputies’ Committee of Petitions, Robin Bőhnisch, Head of the Czech-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group, and Václav Havel, Deputy Mayor of Prague.The delegation is also scheduled to have a meeting with Miroslav Novák, the governor of the Moravian-Silesian Region. The delegation is due to return to Armenia on Friday, September 26.
