Folk dances training on the Freedom Square
Folk dances training was organized on the Freedom Square within the frames of the project dedicated to the 23rd anniversary of the RA Independence. The project was implemented with the initiative of Yerevan Municipality and Karin folk-dance group, also by announcing the launch of the “Folk dance school” project, by which folk dance will become a mandatory subject at schools. Yerevan Mayor Deputy Aram Sukiasyan was also present at the ceremony. Greeting the participants, Deputy Mayor stressed the importance of the project, which will contribute the restoration and spread of national values.
