Ashot Adamyan- world champion
At the 36th Arm wrestling championship in Vilnius Armenian delegates won a medal on the first day. 60 kg Ashot Adamyan defeated all his opponents at U-21 tournament with left hand and became world champion. In the final round he defeated Azerbaijani arm wrestler. 75 kg Davit Nersisyan reached the semi-final but then had two defeats and took the 4th place. Today arm wrestlers will compete with right hand. Ashot Adamyan, Davit Nersisyan, 70 kg Derenik Stepanyan, Hayk Aghamalyan, Armen Chapuryan, Vrezh Sedrakyan and Margarita Nersisyan will represent Armenia.
