Hayrikyan wonders how Armenian authorities dare to celebrate Independence Day (video)
The chairman of the Union for National Self-Determination (AIM) does not understand how the authorities in Armenia dare to celebrate Independence Day marked annually on September 21. Paruyr Hayrikyan says on September 21 he will only remember the name of people who created Armenia’s independence. “How can these people [Armenian leadership] celebrate September 21 if they are acting against it. Independence means to get rid of Russian’s rule. We had almost done it but today they are again heading towards Russia,” he said.
