Referendums of independence in Scotland and Catalonia can have positive influence on the international recognition of independence in Nagorno Karabakh Republic. NA HHK party member Hovhannes Sahakyan is sure that time works in favor of Nagorno Karabakh Republic and its people. Dashnaktsutyun deputy Aghvan Vardanyan thinks that it will be easier for Nagorno Karabakh to work with Scotland or Catalonia on the way to international recognition, “Due to such recognitions, perception and consciousness, the principle of self-determination right will dominate within the frames of Minsk group.” NA Heritage party head Ruben Hakobyan also thinks that such referendums as in Europe will be beneficial for Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
