We have not held elections lying on sofas - Vardan Ayvazyan
Republicans have nothing to worry about, Republican MP Vardan Ayvazyan said on September 10 commenting on Tuesday’s meeting between Armenian first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Gagik Tsarukyan. He has a normal attitude to similar meetings, although he reminds that ‘we have not held elections lying on sofas.’ Heritage Party MP Tevan Poghosyan also considers similar meetings as a normal phenomenon. “The more often different political figures meet and discuss matters, the better,” he said. The Heritage Party is not going to name a single candidate in the next presidential election.
