Armenian Defense Minister attends NATO meeting in Wales
Within the framework of the NATO summit in Wales, Armenian Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan, on Thursday participated in the meeting of the heads of defense agencies of the NATO member and partner states. The Interoperability Platform initiative between NATO and the partner countries kicked off during the meeting. In his address, Seyran OHanyan noted that the Armenian Defence Ministry views this initiative as a unique confidence-building measure which will also contribute to reduce stress in the South Caucasus and adjacent regions. In his address to the discussants, Ohanyan noted that the Armenia MOD considers this new initiative to be a unique confidence-building measure, which also will contribute to the reducing tension in the South Caucasus and neighbouring regions.
