Spokesman for Gyumri Mayor hands in resignation
A spokesperson for the Gyumri Mayor has tendered his resignation, which has been accepted by Mayor Samvel Balasanyan. In his address to Gyumri citizens, Spokesman Zohrap Yeganyan said he resigned from his job for personal reasons, and the decision was agreed upon with the mayor. He also thanked his teammates and media representatives for ‘active, constructive and effective work.’ Zohrap Yeganyan also wished Samvel Balasanyan success in his future endeavours. Yeganyan’s name has been circulated as a possible candidate for Prime Minister’s spokesman. Talking to A1+, Yeganyan did not deny the reports, at the same time stressing that he really had personal reasons to quit his job.
