AREVIK FOR CHILDREN
Support A1+!The annual TV contest-festival of children and youth songs “Arevik” will be held in the theater after Gabriel Sundukyan on March 9. On this occasion the administration of the Arevik group rendered a press conference in the House of Journalists.
Arevik contest-festival was founded in 2000 on the initiative of Armen Divanyan. It is a contest open for all the interested from Armenia and Diaspora.
The participants are awarded in the nominations for «Children's song», «Youth song», and «Best performer». According to the initiators the contest is held fairly and impartially. For instance, the names of the authors of the songs are not published even during the final stage. After calculating the points the winners are announced. The songs of self-taught bards and composers are evaluated on different criteria.
