Fourteen Azerbaijani soldiers killed in border shootout
Azerbaijan says it sustained eight losses in the recent shootout on the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Karabakh. July 31, Azerbaijan’s armed forces launched a deadly act of sabotage in the direction of a northern military unit on the Line of Contact. The Artsakh Defense Army reported on Friday that two of its soldiers were killed while repulsing an Azerbaijani incursion across the border. The Armenian Defense Ministry later said 14 Azerbaijani soldiers died in the recent firefight on the Line of Contact.
