The Gurdjieff Folk Instruments Ensemble had a great success in Germany where it participated at Rudolstadt festival – one of the most famous music festivals in Europe. Over 80,000 people came to listen to the performers who arrived in Germany from different countries. More than 100 groups participated in the festival. The performance of the Gurdjieff ensemble aroused great interest among the audience and the excerpts of the Ensemble's Rudolstadt concert were broadcast on Bavarian radio on July 30. The success of the Ensemble came even earlier. In June, the Ensemble performed at Kongresshaus Zurich and Schaffhausen Municipality in Switzerland. In May, it participated at the Canberra International Music Festival in Australia and gave another concert in Sydney, performing the works of Gurdjieff, Komitas and Narekatsi. At the same time, they gave master classes to students of the Sydney Conservatorium, introducing and spreading the music of Komitas, and performed at the famous Albert Hall in Canberra, Australia, at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon and in many other places. Currently, the Ensemble continues its work and will soon participate in another music program, continuing to represent the Armenian music worldwide.
