The Judicial Acts Compulsory Enforcement Service (JACES) of the Armenian Ministry of Justice has issued a statement explaining yesterday’s events at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex – Hamalir. “Based on Article 64.1 of the RA Law “On Compulsory Enforcement of Judicial Acts, on July 29 the JACES made a decision to expel Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex Ltd, as well as all individuals who do not have legal right to use or occupy an area in the territory adjacent to Tsitsernakaberd Park in Yerevan’s Kentron community. As for the debtor’s claims that the Complex had not been notified of the JACES decision, we inform you that the JACES sent a notification to Armine Hakobyan, an authorized person of the Complex, who read the decision but refused to sign it. We also provide a video without commentary,” reads the statement.
