Rector’s brother murdered by 'jealous' husband
Harutyun Grigoryan, the brother of the Rector of Gyumri State Pedagogical Institute, whose body was found with bullets in a pit last week, was buried on Sunday. After the funeral, Grigoryan’s neighbour Arman Katinyan, Head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Shirak Military Police, surrendered to the police and confessed to the crime, Aravot.am reports. The police official, who had fled to Akhalkalak after the murder, said he had killed Grigoryan ‘in fit of jealousy.’ As it turned out later the dispute between the two neighbours continued for a long time and Katinyan was jealous of his beautiful wife. Harutyun Grigoryan celebrated his 50th anniversary recently.
