Armenian PM offers condolences to the family of Sen Arevshatyan
Armenia’s Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has sent a message of condolences to the family of renowned scholar Sen Arevshatyan. “Sen Arevshatyan is one of the most famous scientists and famed intellectuals of our time. Great is his controbution to the study of ancient and medieval Armenian philosophy and of Armenology. Heading the Matenadaran Museum of Ancient Manuscripts for 25 years he also contributed to the development of that scientific and cultural institution which is so important for the Armenian people,” said Mr Abrahamyan, Renowned scholar, former director of the Institute of Ancient Manuscripts - Matenadaran, Academician Sen Arevshatyan died in Yerevan on Friday, July 25.
