Nagorno-Karabakh’s military has stopped another reconnaissance-sabotage group from infiltrating into the republic’s territory. The incident happened on July 26 in the northern and northeastern directions of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azarbaijan. The Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army’s frontline units timely spotted the movement of the group, took retaliatory actions, inflicting losses on the enemy and driving it back to its former positions. The NKR Ministry of Defense says one Armenian soldier, Khachatur Badasyan (born in 1994), received a fatal wound killed during the clashes. The NKR Defense Army extends condolences to the family and friends of the killed soldier. Investigation is underway to establish the details of the incident.
