Abraham Abrahamyan, the palace hunter of the Shah of Iran, has not taken a gun in his hands for a long time, but he has not forgotten the methods and secrets of its use.
Abrahamyan was born and raised in Iran and spent many years in the palace where he soon acquired a reputation of the best hunter. He inherited his hunting skills from his ancestors. Though the hunter worked for the Shah for many decades, he always saw him from afar.
Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi did not go hunting and it was impossible to approach him, recalls Abraham Abrahamyan.
He was on good terms with the palace officials and considers the friendship one of the significant achievements in his life.
