One of candidates withdraws from race

One of the two candidates running in the August 3 election in Antarashen community of Armenia’s Lori region has withdrawn from the race.

Republican Razmik Ghumashyan announced his withdrawal on July 25, leaving his rival Rafik Kharatyan, who is presently unemployed, the only candidate in the local elections. A special election was called in the community after the sudden death of Headman Vladimir Aslanyan.

Antarashen has 180 eligible voters.
