ARMENIAN OFFICIALS IN OSWIECIM

January 27 the Armenian official delegation headed by Prime Minister Andranik Margarian will depart for Krakow, Poland, to take part in the ceremony dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Oswiecim concentration camp.

Official representatives of other states are also expected to take part in the measure. On the evening of January 26th the heads of the delegations are invited to a formal dinner on behalf of Polish President Alexander Kwasniewski, while in the morning of January 27th “Let My People Dance” international forum is to be held in the Julius Slowacki Theater in Krakow. In the afternoon the delegations will start for Oswiecim where the principal ceremony dedicated to the liberation of the Oswiecim concentration camp is to take place.

The same evening in the Balitse Radzivillner Palace a reception will be held for the delegations. Within the framework of the visit the Armenian Prime Minister and the delegation are expected to meet with the representatives of the Armenian community of Poland as well as with Archbishop of Krakow, Cardinal Franciszek Macharski.
