Sargis Grigoryan, a specialist in Arab studies, is convinced that Islamists carry out a deliberate policy against Christians in order to make them leave the territory. “HAMAS is trying to show that it does not remain outside the territorial events, moreover, it is interesting in maintaining regional tension,” he said. Speaking about Israel, Sargis Grigoryan said it is trying to suppress for some time the danger posed by Islamic extremists. The number of victims of the conflict has reached 700 in several days. The specialist believes that the situation will continue for some time and the conflict will end in ceasefire.
