Co-workers' dispute ends in death
The Goris Police Department of the Armenian Police received a report from the Operational Management Centre of the Yerevan Police Department at 5.00 a.m. that a certain Alexander Hovhannisyan had called them to report that he had killed a man. On arriving at the scene, the task force found out that Alexander Hovhannisyan (born in 1966) had hit his co-worker Artur Martirosyan (born in 1986) with a metal holder, causing his death. Both men worked on a construction site on Yerevan-Meghri roadway and lived in a portable cabin in the neighborhood. Alexander Hovhannisyan is arrested. A criminal case has been filed under Article 104 (Part 1) of the Armenian Criminal Code.
