Artsakh President receives Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan

On July 21, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan, Vicar of the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the widening and deepening church-state-society ties.

President Sahakyan highlighted the role of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the history and state building of our nation, underlining that it had always been and would remain one of the most significant institutions consolidating the worldwide Armenians, maintaining national identity and patriotic upbringing of the younger generation.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan partook in the meeting.
