Lyon Komitas Choir to perform in Yerevan
The Komitas Choir based in Lyon, France, is to perform at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall in Yerevan at 6p.m. July 19. The choir will perform the songs of Komitas, M. Yekmalyan, A. Harutyunyan, Gusan Sheram and Kh. Avetisyan. The choir was founded in 1962. Jean Berberian has been the conductor of the choir since 1980. Last week the choir gave concerts in Goris, Sisian and Stepanakert.
