Freedom fighter's daughter found hanging from ceiling
A 23-year-old resident of Getap village in Shirak region was found hanging from the ceiling of their house on July 18. Anushik Zakaryan was the daughter of a freedom fighter. Headman of Getap village Gor Stepanayan says the Zakaryan family lived in poor social conditions. The family members, specifically Anushik sold candles and icons in Getap, Gyumri and Artik. On July 10, the girl’s brother left to serve in the army. Two days before the tragedy, Anuik’s mother and brother went to Nubarashen to see her soldier brother. When they returned home, they found Anushik hanging from the ceiling, Tsayg TV reports.
