Air Armenia Company does not have flights through Ukraine airspace

Air Armenia Company operates its flights according to the schedule. Thursday’s crash of a Malaysian plane on the Ukraine-Russia border did not affect the company’s operations, as the company does not carry out flight through the Ukraine airspace.

Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crashed in Ukraine, on the border with Russia, with 295 people onboard. Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was on a routine flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when it crashed, apparently after being hit by a missile.

After the crash a number of airlines, German Lufthansa, French Air France, Russian Aeroflot and Turkish Airlines decided to avoid Ukrainian airspace and stopped routing flights over Ukraine.
