Armenian soldier shot dead while on combat duty
Armenian serviceman Gevorg Avagyan, 20, was shot dead Friday morning while on combat duty on the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan. The tragic incident occurred in a military unit stationed in the southerly direction, the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army reports. The NKR Defense Ministry expresses it condolences to the family, friends and fellow servicemen of Avagyan. An investigation is underway to find out the details of the incident
