Old buildings will 'get a second birth' in Yerevan (video)
The ‘Old Yerevan’ project, which includes the dismantling of buildings left from the pre-soviet period in the center of Yerevan and rebuilding them in another location - the neighboring of Byuzand and Aram streets, will eventually come to life, says architect Levon Vardanyan. He has been presenting the project to the authorities in Yerevan since 2005, however, its realization has been postponed every year for some reasons, including economic crisis and unfavourable conditions. However, many still doubt that the project will be ever realized.
