Abuse of official powers
According to the report of a citizen Arman Ye., a criminal case has been instituted based on the materials prepared in the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia under Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, the SIS press service reports. A preliminary investigation is under way. A citizen Arman Ye. reports that in the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal case reviewed in Malatia Investigation Department of Yerevan city Investigation Administration of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, one of the aforementioned investigators by using his official position interfered in the investigator’s work who was in charge of conducting the proceeding for the aim of hampering the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the criminal case. The suspect or the accused of the alleged offence is deemed innocent since his or her innocence is not proved by virtue of the effective court verdict in the manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia.
