Serzh Sargsyan should resign with his team because they have been unable to fulfill their duties, Chairman of the Union for Self-Determination (AIM) told reporters on July 12.
Paruyr Hayrikyan says Sargsyan’s resignation should differ from the resignation of Levon Ter-Petrosyan tenderede in 1998 when ‘the same political team simply replaced its players.’
Mr Hayrikyan wants pro-European forces to come to power and claims he is a good candidate to rule the country.
The delay of Armenia’s membership to the Customs Union is conditioned by the fact that Russia is not interested in Armenia at the moment.
“They view Armenia as a bargaining chip thanks to our authorities’ policy,” said the AIM Chairman.
