France did not sell arms to Azerbaijan - says Ambassador Henri Reynaud (video)
French Ambassador to Armenia Henri Reynaud dismisses media reports saying that his country has sold arms to Azerbaijan. “I really do not possess such information that France is selling weapons to Azerbaijan. The reports do not correspond to reality,” Henri Reynaud said on Friday during a Yerevan-hosted meeting with journalists dedicated to Bastille Day, a French national holiday. The French Ambassador reminded that France is one of the OSCE Co-Chair countries that broker the Karabakh peace deal and it stems from the interests of France to reach a peaceful settlement of the conflict: arms sale conflicts with that principle.
