Employees of Armenia’s chemical giant rubber-producing Nairit plant are holding another protest today demanding their unpaid salaries of 15 months. The protesters are currently marching to the government to once again remind the cabinet members of the issue. Nairit plant was founded in 1940 and is located in a Yerevan suburb. The plant hasn’t been operating since 2010. Only 500 of its 2500 employees work in the plant today, others are on compulsory layoff.
