Master classes within the frames of “Golden apricot”
“Golden Apricot” Yerevan 11th International Film Festival is pleased to present the special Master Classes. On July 14 an Austrian-born cinematographer Christian Berger will speak on the art of cinematography. On July 15 the renowned Chinese director Jia Zhangke will have a meeting on the art of filmmaking. The next class is scheduled for July 17 and will be held by distinguished film critic and the former director of New York Film Festival Richard Pena whose class is entitled as “The Beginnings of Independent African American Cinema”. The next day- July 18 a Greek novelist, playwright, screenwriter and literary translator Petros Markaris will be giving a class on the art of script writing. And finally, Anna Mouglalis, a French actress will have a meeting with the audience and will give a class on the art of acting. All the classes will be held at the Cinema of «Nairi». Start time at 3pm. Golden Apricot offers a free entrance for all the Master Classes held in the frames of the festival.
