BHK Deputy mediated for Volodya Avetisyan
Yesterday BHK Deputy, NA Human rights defense and public affairs standing committee head Elinar Vardanyan applied to Yerevan Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun administrative areas court of general jurisdiction judge Levon Avetisyan with the mediation, so that Reserve Colonel Volodya Avetisyan is justified or milder punishment is set by the Prosecutor. It is noted in his application that they followed the trial and the accusations are baseless. NA Deputy turned to Volodya Avetisyan’s military way, 6 children under his care, as well as to the difficult social condition of the family. We remind that Volodya Avetisyan is accused of swindling. He may be sentenced to 6 years and 6 months in prison. The case verdict will be published on July 7.
