On June 20, the Helsinki Committee of Armenia appealed to the Administrative Court asking to annul the decisions of Yerevan Municipality and government which recognized Afrikians’ House, one of the old buildings in the Armenian capital, as a property subject to demolition.
Today, the Committee received the response of the court.
“The Court partly rejected the appeal. This refers to the items concerning the government’s decision. They also found shortcomings in the application concerning the Municipality’s decision, and now we are to address them,” said Ani Vardanyan, a lawyer of the Committee.
