Civil initiative to hold rally and march against electricity price hike
A civil initiative calling itself “We are against electricity price hike” calls on all citizens of Armenia to join their protest to be held outside the Public Services Regulatory Commission at 10:30, July 1. On that day, the Commission will be holding a meeting to discuss the planned increase in electricity tariffs. The civil initiative is holding another protest near the Opera House in Yerevan at 7p.m. June 30. It will be followed by an awareness-raising march during which the group members will distribute flyers and urge everyone to stand up for their rights.
