Announcement against Azerbaijan in circulation
At the summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, a written declaration was put into circulation by the Armenian delegation, which was signed by PACE 28 delegates. They express their concern on human rights and democracy situation in Azerbaijan, “PACE must take urgent actions taking into account the reports on restrictions of freedom of speech and freedom of gatherings, arrests and imprisonments in Azerbaijan, which are carried out by Azerbaijani authorities for making opposition and independent media silent, for restricting NGO activities.”
