Ombudsman on Policemen behavior
We express our concern on the yesterday’s events on Saryan Street. Maintaining public order by the Policeman doesn’t mean beating citizens, and be guided by emotions during performing official duties shows low professionalism. So, we expect relevant steps toward all the Policemen, who applied excessive force on the action participants. At the same time, some action participants also demonstrated unacceptable behavior. It can be seen in some media videos how some of them offend or push the Policemen. Human rights application isn’t permissiveness, illegal behavior and disrespectful attitude toward law enforcement officers.
