Police officers managed to open the way to a police vehicle by pushing and elbowing activists who are protesting against the electricity price hike outside the Public Services Regulatory Commission in Yerevan. The car is transporting detained activists to a police department. A1+’s correspondent reports from the ground that a brawl broke out between a citizen and a policeman. The activists demand that Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission, Robert Nazaryan, come out and explain the reasons for the electricity price rise. The group has now blocked Saryan street by sitting on the asphalt. They are chanting, “Shame!” “Shame!” The police have formed a chained and are trying to dissuade the activists from closing the street.
