Garry Kasparov gets star support
U2 famous rock group singer Bono expressed his support to the 13th World Chess champion Garry Kasparov in upcoming FIDE presidential elections. “I have recently got acquainted with this great personality and learnt that he is a candidate at FIDE presidential elections. I know no other intelligent person, who can take that post,”- said the famous singer. Bono confessed that at first he was a fan of the 12th world champion Anatoly Karpov, but then Garry Kasparov became the best for him. We note that Garry Kasparov continues his campaign and visits different countries. Recently he has been in Ireland, where he met Bono.
