”Union of Russian-Speaking Citizens of NKR” held a poetry soiree for the 80th birthday of Bulat Okujava. Center head Vera Khachatryan who is a teacher of Russian language and literature, introduced life and creative development of the poet. Schoolchildren and students represented the works of Okujava and pupils of Stepanakert Musical School sang his songs.

According to the correspondent of “Regnum” Agency, the aim of ”Union of Russian-Speaking Citizens of NKR” is to broaden the spectrum of relations with Russian Federation and Russian-speaking districts of ex-USSR states supporting integration of NKR citizens into the international Russian-speaking instances.
