Pyunik becomes Armenian Champion 2014

The 9th Armenian Club Championship has wrapped up in the Central House of Chess-player named after Tigran Petrosian. Pyunik became the champion of the tournament, scoring five wins in five games and gaining 10 points. BKMA came second with eight points followed by the team of the Chess Academy. The winners of the 1st and the 2nd prizes got the right to participate in the European Cup tournament to be held in Bilbao, Spain, on September 11-21.
