Our party entered the National Assembly with seven votes, but now there are 50-55 of us, Aram Manukyan, Secretary of the Armenian National Congress (HAK), said on Friday.
He says today the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) adopts laws with 66-67 votes. The HAK representative believes that more lawmakers will join the ranks of the parliamentary opposition.
“They will leave the HHK and join the opposition. Soon, we shall have 55 Republicans in parliament,” he said.
