Either charge or freedom to an injured from Vernisazh events
Today at Yerevan Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative areas Court of General Jurisdiction charges must be pressed against Nerses Melkonyan injured from Vernisazh shootings. He was arrested three days before and today at 15:00 it has been 72 hours since the arrest. According to the law, he must be either charged or set free. Nerses Melkonyan’s defender Varduhi Elbakyan said in the conversation with “A1+” that he can’t be arrested. Nerses Melkonyan is accused of hooliganism and was arrested based on the Criminal Code Article 258. We remind that on May 17 at 13:30 there were shootings near Vernisazh, there were 5 injured.
