Heavy rainfall paralyzes traffic on Zhoragyugh-Kurtan roadway, closes turns
Heavy rainfall and hail in Armenia’s Lori region blocked Zhoragyugh-Kurtan roadway, causing discomfort for vehicles. Massive torrent of muddy water cascaded down the road, bringing rocks and debris after heavy rains. A task force of the local rescue service was dispatched to the site shortly after receiving the report. It turned out that heavy rains flooded one section of the roadway, disrupting the traffic and closing the turns (25 m) on the road.
